The first travelers stopped by Lake Pristava as early as 1870, and now the restaurant is run by the sixth generation. The Šiker family lives with tradition, seasons and seasonal cuisine, thus preserving the heritage of generations of Šikers. Next to the more than 150-year-old Šiker family inn is the Country Museum, where the family keeps farm tools that tell the story of farm life in Slovenske Gorice in the past. The collection, which has more than 500 objects, contains objects from fruit growing, viticulture, agriculture, living culture, agricultural machinery and means of transport, as well as wheel-working, cooperage and carpentry.
