Kvasenica is a one-layer ‘pogača’ made of yeast dough, which is richly coated with a curd filling and coated with sour cream. Pogače are a group of simple country dishes made of puff or pulled dough, filled with cottage cheese, local fruit and other local goods, and baked in a baking tray in an oven or brick oven.
