Mushroom soup

You won’t find a restaurant or a tourist farm in Slovenske Gorice, where mushroom soup is not offered among all the delicacies. Creamy mushroom soup made from seasonal mushrooms is good as a starter or a meal on its own, and potatoes and cream add a great texture and flavor to it.

Along with mushroom soup, you will often get buckwheat-žganci as a side dish, which is a very tasty and filling combination with the soup.
