The Cerkvenjak airstrip has a grass runway for taking off and landing aircraft.
The airstrip is intended for the take-off and landing of motor kites, Ul planes and other aircraft and aircraft models, the flight characteristics of which correspond to the dimensions of the airstrip and its limitations for sports activities, aviation events and, if necessary, for the training of flight personnel. The area covers approx. 55,000 m2 and is located in the valley of the Čagona settlement by the Drvanja stream.
At the airstrip, in accordance with the flight rules, sport and individual or group panoramic flights are organized at certain times in cooperation with the Maribor Aviation Center (LCM).
Activities: Panoramic rides, meetings and gatherings of modelers and paragliders, open day.
