Grafonž’s Homestead
Zgornja Ščavnica 58, 2233 Sv. Ana v Slovenskih goricah
The house was built in 1841 in the Styrian style. The partly brick and partly wooden house has been called the Grafonž’s homestead for the fourth generation, which gives us a museum-like insight into life and farming in former times. The homestead is one of the few completely preserved environments with characteristic of buildings from the 19th century. Next to the house is a well-preserved outbuilding with the remains of a mill and a lot of farm tools. Not far from the homestead there is also a completely preserved flax drying room, the so-called flax house. The old, restored apiary with 38 Viennese hives gives the farm a special charm.
